Young Parents

An eight week programme to support young parents to explore their learning and work options. The course is designed to help parents or parents to be recognise their strengths and abilities and gain confidence in planning for the future.

There is the opportunity to do an accredited NOCN Award certificate - Recognising Interpersonal Skills.

To be eligible for this project you must be:

    Aged under 20 years old

    Either a parent or a parent to be (male or female)

Just the job

A flexible six week rolling programme (you can join at any time). The aims of the project are to offer young people a fast track route to gaining employment skills and find paid work.

Young people will improve their employabvility through achieving a certificate in - Developing Skills for Employment.

Workshops are held on Tuesday afternoons at Future Prospects

To be eligible for this project you must be:

Aged between 16 and 19 years old

Not in Education, Training or Employment
